Engine Cover Aetna - Station 8 - Newark

On Sunday, October 28th at 11:40 hours and 11:44 hours, Station 15 was alerted for an Engine and BLS cover assignment for Station 8 and Station 9, Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder.  Engine 15-5 with a crew of 6 under command of Career Staff Getty responded and covered until being released at 13:03.  B-15 handled 1 EMS run for Aetna and were released at 13:17 hours.

Aetna was dispatched for a house fire, smoke form the attic vent at 23 Aldershot Drive in Robscott Manor.  Units arrived on scene with smoke showing and upgraded the alarm.  Christiana, Singerly of Elkton, Mill Creek, Hockessin and Newport Fire Companies were alerted to assist Aetna.
