MVC involving Motor Cycle - M29D2B - St. Georges Bridge

At 10:26 hours Station 15, Medic 6A and Trooper 4 were dispatched for a Motor Vehicle Crash involving a Motorcycle (M29D2B) on the St. Georges Bridge South Side. Medic 6A responded at 10:26 hours, B-15 responded at 10:28 hours and Rescue 15 at 10:31 hours. B-15 and Rescue 15 arrived on scene at 10:36 hours requesting TMC to close the Southbound Lanes on St. Georges Bridge and Station 15 Fire Police. Trooper 4 arrived on scene at 10:37 hours and set down in the southbound lanes. B-15 reported trauma alert at 10:36 hours and requested an additional BLS. A-15 responded at 10:40 hours. A motorcyclist ran into the back end of a tractor trailer causing a minivan to collide with the middle partition on the bridge. The motorcyclist had severe head/facial injuries and was transported to CER via Trooper 4 at 10:59 hours. Both A-15 and B-15 transported 2 each (BLS) from the minivan to CER. Medic 6A cleared at 11:02 hours. Command placed the scene under control at 11:09 hours. A total of 10 members responded. Units responding: A-15, B-15, Rescue 15, 15-9, 15-9A, Medic 6A, Trooper 4, DelDot and DSP.
