Motor Vehicle Crash with Car in Water - 72E1

At 12:35 hours, Station 15, Marine Units 29 and Chesapeake City, MD, Medic 6A, Trooper 4 and New Castle County Dive Team were dispatched for a reported vehicle accident with the vehicle overturned on the rock jetty on the Southside of the C&D Canal west of the Route 1 Bridge.

Units arrived on scene with vehicle on its roof in the Canal.  Fireboard advised Delaware City Command [Chief Rosseel] that the driver of rhe vehicle walked from the scene over to the developmeny of Canal View where crews from B-15 and Medic 6A evaluated rge patient and transported to CER.

Scene was turned over the DNREC.
