Field Piece Assist Townsend - Thouroghfare Road - Cedar Swamp Creek

Station 15 was dispatched at 14:20 hours to assist Station 26 Townsend on a field/marsh fire on Thoroughfare Road in Cedar Swamp Creek. 15-0 responded and was put into service hitting hot spots throughout the farm area. Crews of 29-0, Argo-29, 45-1, 45-5, 43-0, 26-0 and 15-0 relocated down Thoroughfare Road to an access road where the crews were eventually able to contain the fire. Townsend Command released 15-0 at 17:23 hours.
