Comments:  I wanted to take a moment and say to the officer's and members of your company, that I'm proud of your company. It was without a doubt you guys went through a lot in the matter of weeks, and the way you stepped up and took care of all the tragic events was top notch. Your company should be commended on they way you guys handled all of the events. I had the pleasure of knowing all three of your members that passed during my ride-along time with your department and I personally will miss talking with all three of them. I also would like to say, I think it was a upstanding showing when President Poppe and Past Chief Rossel came to our meeting and spoke to my company. I am proud to call each and everyone of you our brothers and sisters.

Comments:  to all the members of delaware city fire department, i would like to thank u with all my heart for taking the time during a trying time for ur company to visit me while visiting one of your own at christiana hospital... although i was in a coma at the time, my family and friends truly appreciate the support you guys showed. when i woke up and was told about your visit and read your card, tears came to my eyes. this allowed me to see what this brotherhood is first hand, which im proud to still be a part of. to give you an update i am home now, recovering slowly but surely, and your companies support and prayers helped me be as strong as i was. i would also like to say i am truly sorry for the loss of your own... i know its a bit late but prayers go out to the smith family from me as well as my family. i was wondering if i could come to your company in the future and speak to your members about my situation and wat not. i'd be more than happy to come up or to even just socialize with you great people. to get up with me you can call my cell phone number. my number is 302-535-5714... once agin thank u for all the support. it saved my life. will breasure

Comments:  My thougths and prayers are with your company and Michelle's family. This is a very tragic loss for the state of Delaware and for your company. I did not know Michelle but judging by the pictures on your site she looks like she was one amazing person and firefighter. Again I am so sorry for your loss.
