The Delaware City Fire Company held it's Open House and Community Safety Day on October 14th. It was well attended by the residents of Delaware City and the surrounding communities.
We had 15 outside health agencies or vendors attend and provide very useful information to those who attended. We also had 6 other Fire companies attend who assisted with demonstrations. Trooper 4 was there as well to give people an up close look at the helicopter.
The Delaware City Fire Company personnel had many demonstrations during the day and the children were able to put out a fire in our smoke house.
Rocky Bluewinkle came to entertain the children.
