GRID 1530 - Estates of Red Lion

On Monday, July 6, 2020 at 19:33 hours Station 15 and mutual aid companies were dispatched for Residential Structure Fire that was struck by lightening on N. Gabriel Drive in the Estates of Red Lion.

Engine 6 arrived 19:37 hours with nothing evident.  Deputy 15 [MacKenzie] arrived at 19:40 hours assuming Delaware City Command.  Squad 15 and Quint 15 responded and assisted Engine 6 and Tower 12 with investigating burnt wires in a 2nd floor bedroom.  Fire was contained to the wires in the bedroom and the power to the house was secured.

Command placed the scene under control at 19:50 hours turning the residence back over to the homeowners.
