New Career Staff Hired

The Delaware City Fire Company announces the hiring of two additional Career Staff.  On Monday, November 19th, the Board of Directors approved the request of Chief Wally Poppe to hire two additional Career Staff.

On Tuesday, November 20th, Chief Poppe hired both Gary Lambert and Quint Boots.  This hiring now brings the total of 8 Career Staff for the fire company.  With this hiring, the fire company will now have 2 full time staff working together 24 hours a day.  

Gary Lambert is a Past Chief of the Minquadale Fire Company bringing over 15 years experienced and Quint Boots is currently a firefighter with the Leipsic Fire Company and has 6 years of experience.

Both will officially start on December 1, 2018.  Congratulations Gary and Quint.
