On Thursday, May 24th, the Delaware City Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary hosted the Graduation Ceremony for the 4th Annual New Castle County Fire Academy.
Once again this year, the Fire Company had a member attend and successfully graduate from the class. Patrick Reeder, son of Assistant Chief Brian Reeder and Ladies Member Christine Reeder was our third member to graduate following David Bright and Christian Jackson-Puglisi from last years Academy.
Patrick attended classroom and hands on training over the past 16 weeks at both the DSFS New Castle and Dover Training Facilities and was able to receive his NFPA Firefighter I and Firefighter II Certifications.
Patrick was also selected to give the Groups speech at the Graduation Ceremony.
The Officers and Members of the Delaware City Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary would like to Congratulate Patrick Reeder and all of the graduates from the 4th Annual NCC Fire Academy.
